At my kinda local junkyard (35 minutes away) getting parts for my latest poor decision (auto to manual swap in my 97 Chevy K1500 more on that later) I saw art, comedy and questionable decisions.
I see a camel. What say you?
Yup that’s a TBI Chevy 350.
This looked like it was covered in Wal-Mart bed line liner.

I would totally put that camel in my yard.

I really wanted to do that when I had my Yukon. Lack of a garage and money at the time prevented that. Are you doing a stock NV3500 swap or going for the overkill 4500?

I am putting in a NV3500. I bought one quite a few years ago for a V8 S10 project that didn’t happen : / The 4L60 is slowly dying so I decided that since I essentially have almost all of the parts already to swap it a manual, might as well.
